THE BASICS

Getting an Avatar
1. Choose a picture from the internet that you would like for your avatar. Some good websites to find pictures are google, yahoo or photobucket.com. You can also use our Graphics Request thread.

2. Once you've found your image, you can either upload it to your photobucket account and use the url address there, or just copy and paste the url address you see in the address bar.

3. Go to [Profile] and scroll down until you see a blank bar for your avatar. Paste the url address of your image into the bar and hit [Enter].

4. Once it loads, it should give you a picture of your avatar beside the bar.

Getting A Banner

1. Find a banner on the internet that you like, or make one yourself. Some good websites to find banners are google.ca, yahoo.ca or photobucket.com. You can also use our Graphics Request thread.

2. Once you've found your picture on the internet, right-click the image and choose [Save As]. Save the image to your computer. If you used the Graphics Request thread, you probably recieved the IMG code along with your image, so just copy the code.

3. Go to photobucket.com or imageshack.com (personally, I recommend photobucket even though you need to register). Click [Browse] beside the blank bar and choose your image, then click [Upload]. It may take a few minutes to upload so be patient. Once it's uploaded, copy the IMG code for your image it gives you. Ignore this step entirely if you already received an IMG code along with your banner in the Graphics Request thread.

4. Click on [Profile] and scroll down to the blank box for your banner. Paste the IMG code into the box and hit [Enter]. Once it's loaded, go post in the forums to see if your banner works.

If you have a question, don't be afraid to ask in the "Graphics Help" thread.
