Harry Potter Roleplay

This thread is where the actual roleplay will take place. Here are the rules for the roleplay. People who don't follow the rules will be dealt with as outlined in the Rules and Regulations Thread.

RULES

1. No chatspeak. This is a literate roleplay.

2. No emoticons while roleplaying.

3. All posts must be in character, unless it is within OOC brackets. Example: ((OOC:blahblahblahblah.)) Emoticons are permitted within OOC brackets.

4. Original characters only.You are cannot be Harry Potter, Ron Weasley etc., nor are you their cousin,friend, long-lost relative etc.

5. All posts must be in third person, past tense format.

6. Please seperate speech from narrative and put speech in italics.

7. No godmoding. Godmoding ismaking your character indestructable or better than all the othercharacters. It also includes controlling other people's characters andtyping their responses.

8. No one sentence posts. Allposts must be descriptive and detailed, as if you were writing anactual storybook. If you can't think of more than one or two sentencesto write, don't write anything.

9. No Double posting. You must wait for one personto post after you before posting again. It puts less strain on thethread and the members of the roleplay.

The Story so far...

This roleplay takes place five years after Harry, Ron and Hermione leaveHogwarts. Voldemort has been defeated, Dumbledore is dead with Professor McGonagall as Headmistress, which means there is an open slot for the head of Griffindor and the Defense Against the Dark Arts classis open for a roleplay member to teach. Also, Severus Snape is nolonger at the school and the Potions class is also available for aroleplay member to teach.

It is the beginning of the school year and the students have just stepped off the Hogwarts Express...

Jessica Hallenburg was so nervous and shy but excited. She couldn't wait to see the her old friends and make new friends. Her first step to Hogwarts(( OOC:Not really first step but you get what i mean))and she saw her past here, the past with her friends, her classes and so. Then she spotted her friends and greeted them. Very Happy

As Crissa got off the Hogwarts Express, she entered Hogwarts and saw lots of new 1st graders. "Hey! Everybody! Look! It's Dorkelina!" shouted a voice which turned out to be Penelope. A girl who is always very mean to her. "Hello Penelope." Crissa answered in a soft voice.

Autumn Bradford stepped off of the hogwarts express and looked around taking in all the students with Owls, Cats and Rats. Suddenly she heard a voice.
"Firs' years this way." shouted the voice.
Aumtun looked around and saw a man about 5 times the size of a normal man. She walked over to the group of students gathering in front of him. Finally all of the first years were there and they set off. Autumn caught her first glimpse of the castle as they came round the corner of the lake in little boats. When they arrived at the bank of the lake they all got out and entered the castle. Autumn could hear the other students, chatting through the wall in front of where they were waiting. Soon the doors of the great hall opened and everyone inside went quiet. Autumn walked in with the pack of first years.

Professer McKonnagall started her day, setting up her room. She placed things where she wanted them. She drew back her curtains and looked outside. "Oh, goody! The students have arrived," She said, hurrying down the stairs.

Dining Hall

Professer McGonnagall began to speak. "Welcome back all of you," She went on talking about the rules forever, and introduced the new teachers. "Now, it is time for the sorting hat," Professer McGonnagall said. She went on and on, until it was time for the last student to be read. "Autumn Bradford," She read. Autumn came up, and sat down. The hat spoke. "RAVENCLAW!" It shouted. The Ravenclaws' hollered with happiness.

Autumn stood nervously with the pack of first years. She listened intently to the rules, then the sorting began. Soon enough everyone else had been sorted and autumn was the only one left standing. Suddenly she felt worried, What if her name wasn't on the list? Maybe it had been a mistake and she wasn't supposed to come. Then proffesor McGonnagall read her name. A flow of releif washed over her and she walked up to the stool and put the hat on over her head. She sat there Nervously and soon the sorting hat shouted 'RAVENCLAW!' Autumn jumped off the stool and carefully placed the hat back onto there. She walked over to a table where bursts of applause had began when the hat had shouted. Autumn turned bright red and sat down on the end of the bench quietly.

The Feast

The sorting was finished, so the food appeared before every house, and every teacher. Professer McKonnagall knew that Hogwarts was amazing, but not this amazing! She began to dig into her food. Soon, the feast was over.

Later...

"Now," Professer McGonnagall began to speak. "It is time for you to retire to your dometroies," The Pre-fects led the students to their dometroies, and then the Professers went to bed, too.

As the sorting began, Crissa just hid her face in a book. After a long while, there was a short moment of silence. Crissa looked up and saw a 1st year just standing there, waiting for her name to be called. Finally, professor McGonnagall called the girl's name. "Autumn Bradford." She shouted out. When the girl sat on the old stool, the hat quickly announced "RAVENCLAW!" A loud applause came from the house of Ravenclaw. As Autumn sat down, she caught a glimpse of Crissa. Not wanting to be impolite, she gave a small gin and continued to read. After the rules were being announced; again, the big feast began. After eating, Crissa quickly headed to her dorm and changed. While the professor was talking about the rules, she heard a new rule. "All 6 grader will be sharing a room with a first grader." Crissa wondered, "Who could it be?" After a while of thinking, somebody opened her doof and laid her stuff on the bed. That girl, turned out to be, Autumn Bradford.

As Autumn sat down she saw a girl smile at her. Autumn made an effot to give a small grin back. She sat and ate the feast not uttering a word to anyone. When the feast was finished She listened to Proffessor McGonnagall say the rules. She heard the last one, All 6 Years will be sharing a room with a first Year. Autumn felt like a brick had fallen down into her stomach. She was nervous Enough as it was let alone having to share a room with someon who was much older than her. She followed the prefects up to the Ravenclaw dormitory and waited to be told who she was sharing a room with. Soon enough the prefect turned to her.
"You will be sharing a room with Crissa Heatherfield. Just up there." He said as he pointed up some stairs. Aumtumn nodded and timidly made her way up to the room wondering who Crissa Heatherfield was. She saw the door that the prefect had pointed to. She carefully opened it and nervously walked in. The girl that she was sharing with turned around to look at her and Autumn recognised the girl to be the one who had smiled at her earlier. Aumtumn smiled slightly.
"Hi." she whispered nervously.

"Welcome to Hogwarts Autumn. I'm Crissa Heartherfield." Crissa said as she stood up and faced the girl. "I hope you enjoy it here. I am your new roomate. So, which bed do you want? The one on the left or the one on the right?" Crissa asked just above whisper.

After the feast, Jessica went to her dorm and changed into her
clothes.After that she went to her bag and go her Journal and started
writing. "She just loves to write", one of her friend whispered. Then
she placed her journal back in her luggage. Then she spoke with her
friends she asked them about their VACATION. She listened as her
friends spoke. Then she spoked."My mom gave birth to a Little girl, her name is Joy. She's very happy at the moment. She didn't say any words yet, she just knows how to cry and sleep." " Of course she does. She's a baby!!!", her friend Allison interupted. Then her friends laughed as she said more stuff. Allison was the funny one among us. Jessica's friends waited since they got off the Hogwarts Express for Allison to say something funny. Then Jessica fed her pet Owl Henry and her pet cat Timothy

"Hello." said Autumn quietly. "um.. is it OK if I have this bed?" asked Autumn as she walked over to the bed on the right. She saw her rat Scooter on the top of her trunk and Autumn ran over to Scooter and picked her up. Then her owl Charlie hooted in his cage, wanting to be let out. Autumn picked up his cage and took it to the window. She opened the door and Charlie flew out, His wings white against the dark sky. Autumn turned around to see Crissa watching her. Autumn smiled slightly and hugger Scooter.

"Ok. You can have that bed. Ummm... I think you should bring him to the Owlery. I did the same thing with my Luna... So, you can receive messages now and then. " Crissa said as she sat down in her comfy seat. "Oh! by the way, Professor handed me your schedule. Here". Crissa stood back up and handed Autumn her schedule. She sat back down as her cat, Shmoofy jumped on her lap. She just stroked that little kitten and continued reading.

Autumn nodded and took her scedual. She examined it carefully and looked at the next day. First she had Transfiguration then potions. after lunch she saw that she had double flying lesson. she sat on her bed stroking Scooter and thought about the lessons. She gripped her wand that lay safely in her pocket.
She got up and picked a book from her Trunk (Hogwarts: a History) then she sat and read it on her bed. Soon she began to feel drowsy so she got up, got changed out of her uniform and got into bed.

When Jessica woke up. She noticed that it was 40 minutes before classes start. She QUICKLY fixed her bed, changed into her uniform, fed Henry and Timothy and gave them a pat(stroke) on the head, got her books and headed for her first class. On the way there, she bumped into a girl who seemed to be a sixth grader. Jessica said HI (quickly) and then she continued heading to her class. "Phew!!!", Jessica whispered, "4 minutes before this class starts." Then she took her seat. Like a Star @ heaven

Professer McKonnagal got up, and got dressed into her daily Gyriffindor Head robes and hat, grabbed her wand, and transformed herself into a tiger. She prowled the halls, heading to her classroom.

Crissa. Crissa got it right first. "Good job!" Prof. McKonnagall said. 'She's like the new Hermione!' Prof. McKonnagall exclaimed. Soon, class ended, and Prof. McKonnagall went to her room, and played with her Puppy.

As Araminta sat in her dorm, thinking back to her sorting. The Sorting Hat had taken a long time to sort her into Slytherin. She knew her Grandmother would have been livid if she had been sorted into Gryffindor like her twin brother Corin.
Araminta still hadn't made any friends, but was looking forward to her next class with Ravenclaw. She found her books, gave her cat Mirr a hug, and departed to Potions.

I first saw this role-play on a fellow neoseeker's banner. I thought oh this is cool I think they joined Ashleighs site. So when I clicked on it this site came up. It looked almost identicly to Ashleighs site. I soon figured out that the creator copied her in everyway! SHE PLAGIRISED HER SITE! There are so many punishments for plagiriasim not only will this site be deleted but she could end up having to do time in jail.

The definition to plagirism according to Marriam Webster is;

-to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own
-to use (another's production) without crediting the source
-to commit literary theft
-to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.

And the creator of this site, Kitty_x9 has not only copied everything from Ashleighs site but shes plagirised it on her own! She has commited all of the offences to what the definition of plagiarism is. SO I want to be the one to make everything right by telling everyone what a fraud and bitch there admin really is.

Shes completly ruined a good persons work that took Ashleigh more then a week to make. She used all of her energy tending to her site just so it would be successful but then a trader of her site comes and copies all of her work and put it on her own site! Not only will Kitty_x9's site end up being shutdown but she may also have to do time in a juvinele center or even jail. But this isn't all, every member that has contributed to any of the forums, threads, posts that Kitty_x9 copied from Ashleighs site will also end up having to do some kind of punishment. Yah I no what your doing right now your probably laughing at the computer screen because you think its unreal and not true and that you will never be punish BUT YOU WILL! The government records all site you've contributed and been to, so yes you will be caught and punished!

But if you leave Kitty's site now before it's too late and someone reports it to the site manager (host) you will not be in as much trouble or any. So here it is, someone finally (me) has decided to tell everyone what a real copier, fraud, and bitch Kitty_x9 is. NEVER TRUST her cause she just might decide to copy your precious work as well.

So leave, leave the site, delete your account and just go, get! Before it's too late and you too are in trouble. And if you do decide to leave try coming to Ashleighs site, the real site with the real work that hasnt been copied. Her site is all legit unlike this load of crap. Some come, come now. Before its again too late...
